The Government Physiotherapy Officers’ Association (GPOA) warmly invites all physiotherapists to join us in celebrating World Physiotherapy Day 2026.
This year’s programme is organized under the theme

“Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke”


📅 Date: Tuesday, 8th September 2026

🕘 Time: 9.00 a.m. onwards

📍 Venue: Neurotrauma Auditorium, National Hospital of Sri Lanka (NHSL), Colombo

The programme will feature expert lectures and scientific sessions conducted by distinguished resource persons, focusing on the important role of physiotherapy and physical activity in the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
